I am new to Feng Shui and have checked a few books and the archives here to no avail. My wife and I have 2 immediate problems, both related to our apartment having our entrance doors opposing windows. Our Apartment is a bisected rectangle with a triple window in each outboard room (Living room & Bedroom on exterior wall).
1. Our entrance (although a little narrow has a large mirror and good lighting) is in a direct path with the living room windows. (Entrance > Dining Room > Living Room > Triple window) Can I use a screen (or other suggestion) to interfere with qi flow? Does only the most direct window count? What if they are kept closed 90% of the time?
2. Bedroom has same problem, wall with door and closet opposes windows. But compounding the problem is that our most favorable bed position (Both sector and direction) are on the wall directly in between the door and window. (right now the bed is on the opposite wall, not in line with door/window... but it is in an unfavorable sector and direction. Again, can I use a screen? not open windows? (or suggestions, of course).
The books I've read give very good general information, enough that I know this is a problem. But I can not find any cures specific enough to feel comfortable knowing that I am not making things worse. Thank you in advance.
