In true traditional Feng Shui and the three legged gold toad with coin the mouth.
The three legged toad (gold or wood) is a commercial product. Many sellers sell it on the basis that they belife it is suppose to `bring good luck' to the owner.

Usually these mirrors are hung above the main door with the Ba Gua symbol to dispel evil spirits.
There is another type of Ba Gua mirror with the Two door Gods. Again, this is said to protect against evil spirits.
It is usually used by some practising Feng Shui practioners (with links to their personal religion) e.g. Taoism and they themselves believe that their clients should place these Ba Gua above their doors.

From what I understand, if you are talking about the First Heaven Sequence Ba Kua, it is said to be originated by the ancient Chinese sage King called Fuxi. Some call it God because they think that it derived from the Heaven i.e. the formation of the Ba Gua.
A sample of the First Heaven Sequence Ba Gua can be found at: http://www.3dglobe.com/fs/pakua.htm

Cecil

User's Comments Dear Sir, I will be getting my resales flat soon and would like to advise on the feng shui before moving in. I had check in your website and was very impressive of the services provided. Regards -- Thank you for your response Mr. Lee. I really wish you could be somewhere here near manila-philippines so i could have my unit checked. It is such a relief to get your opinion most specially when you mentioned that fengshui should not be so rigid. I also agree with you when you say that little lucky ornaments being promoted by some masters are for business intentions and non-sense. Best regards and more power to you and your team. |
