Dear Jason,
Usually, it would depend greatly on your personal Ba Zi i.e. the position of the main entrance door rather than the position of the garage whether it be at the left or right side. As this changes totally the main door direction.
If you like to consider, there is a specific report that we have specifically tailormade to look at Good Houses. This is the Paid Good House Report. And it analyses all 24 directions = 360 degrees and specific to e.g. the breadwinner.
In my opinion, this is a worthwhile consideration and the direction of the main door can be an advantage for a new house/and for the owner.
